Absolutely not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>To look like masterpiece. Vypadat jako mistrovsk\u00e9 d\u00edlo.<\/em> Je bezpochyby velmi \u010destn\u00e9, pokud V\u00e1clav Marhoul takov\u00fd p\u0159\u00edstup ve sv\u00e9 tvorb\u011b odm\u00edt\u00e1. Hodnota filmu nesm\u00ed vych\u00e1zet z pouh\u00e9 podobnosti vn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch znak\u016f, variac\u00ed na zn\u00e1m\u00e9 obrazy a postupy filmov\u00e9 \u0159e\u010di, p\u0159ipom\u00edn\u00e1n\u00ed prozkouman\u00e9ho, \u00factou strnul\u00e9ho kultu. V rozhovoru pro port\u00e1l Cineuropa, po\u0159\u00edzen\u00e9m u p\u0159\u00edle\u017eitosti za\u0159azen\u00ed sn\u00edmku Nabarven\u00e9 pt\u00e1\u010de do sout\u011b\u017en\u00ed sekce Ben\u00e1tsk\u00e9ho bien\u00e1le 2019, V\u00e1clav Marhoul d\u00e1le vyzn\u00e1v\u00e1 sv\u016fj obdiv Andreji Tarkovsk\u00e9mu \u010di Jean-Clade Cari\u00e8rovi. Proklamovan\u00e1 v\u016fle nevytv\u00e1\u0159et pouh\u00fd dojem mistrovstv\u00ed by implikovala re\u017eis\u00e9rovu snahu nav\u00e1zat up\u0159\u00edmn\u00fd autorsk\u00fd dialog s v\u00fdznamn\u00fdmi osobnostmi sv\u011btov\u00e9 kinematografie. Bohu\u017eel, podoba Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete v\u0161ak tomuto p\u0159\u00edstupu neodpov\u00edd\u00e1. Respektive, jestli\u017ee V\u00e1clav Marhoul takov\u00e9 soukrom\u00e9, vnit\u0159n\u00ed rozhovory p\u0159i pr\u00e1ci na filmu vedl, potom se zd\u00e1, jako by se mu dosud nepoda\u0159ilo p\u0159ekro\u010dit hranice b\u00e1zliv\u00e9ho, odta\u017eit\u00e9ho obdivu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co tedy p\u0159im\u011blo porotce Ben\u00e1tsk\u00e9ho bien\u00e1le k uveden\u00ed Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete do sout\u011b\u017ee? Ofici\u00e1ln\u00ed obhajoba \u010di alespo\u0148 dramaturgick\u00fd koment\u00e1\u0159 nejsou ve\u0159ejn\u011b dostupn\u00e9. Je v\u0161ak mo\u017en\u00e9, aby se skupina filmov\u00fdch profesion\u00e1l\u016f nechala vt\u00e1hnout do &#8211; p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm produk\u010dn\u00ed &#8211; hry na opus magnum?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Vzpom\u00ednky a odkazy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0158emesln\u00e1 hodnota sn\u00edmku vych\u00e1z\u00ed p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm z obrazov\u00e9 slo\u017eky. Hudbu film vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 jen poskrovnu, ke slo\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00edm zvukov\u00fdm kompozic\u00edm se neuchyluje. Samotn\u00fd p\u0159\u00edb\u011bh sice p\u016fsob\u00ed pohnut\u00ed svou surovost\u00ed, nadm\u00edru explicitn\u00edm ztv\u00e1rn\u011bn\u00edm n\u00e1sil\u00ed, vypr\u00e1v\u011bn je ale line\u00e1rn\u011b, bez vedlej\u0161\u00edch \u010di nere\u00e1ln\u00fdch d\u011bj\u016f. Tak jako rom\u00e1nov\u00e1 p\u0159edloha Jerzy Kosi\u0144sk\u00e9ho, rovn\u011b\u017e filmov\u00e9 zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dn\u011b subjektivn\u00ed perspektivy: p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhem n\u00e1s prov\u00e1z\u00ed bezejmenn\u00fd chlapec, jeho\u017e vnit\u0159n\u00ed sv\u011bt ov\u0161em v liter\u00e1rn\u00ed ani filmov\u00e9 podob\u011b tak\u0159ka nepozn\u00e1me. Kamera tedy a\u017e na v\u00fdjimky, jako je obraz \u017did\u016f ut\u00edkaj\u00edc\u00edch z transportu a n\u00e1sledn\u011b post\u0159\u00edlen\u00fdch nacisty, sleduje sc\u00e9ny za p\u0159\u00edtomnosti chlapce, nikoli v\u0161ak z jeho \u00fahlu pohledu. P\u0159itom pr\u00e1v\u011b osobn\u00edm vn\u00edm\u00e1n\u00edm zkreslen\u00e9 z\u00e1b\u011bry, osvobozen\u00e9 od \u010ditelnosti bez toho o\u010dek\u00e1vateln\u00fdch psychologick\u00fdch nebo historick\u00fdch motiv\u016f, opl\u00fdvaj\u00ed nejsiln\u011bj\u0161\u00ed sugestivitou. Jedn\u00e1 se obzvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 o z\u00e1b\u011br na sesychaj\u00edc\u00ed t\u011blo mouchy, je\u017e pozoruje mlyn\u00e1\u0159 na zdi sv\u00e9ho domu coby nel\u00edtostnou, j\u00edzlivou, k \u0161\u00edlenstv\u00ed dr\u00e1\u017edivou p\u0159ipom\u00ednku vlastn\u00edho z\u00e1niku &#8211; tento obraz nicm\u00e9n\u011b vznikl na z\u00e1klad\u011b p\u0159ipom\u00ednky mlyn\u00e1\u0159ova p\u0159edstavitele Udo Kiera. Anebo pohled chlapce na vesni\u010dany vezouc\u00ed ho coby <em>\u017eidovskou ko\u0159ist<\/em> nacist\u016fm, p\u0159evr\u00e1cen\u00fd vzh\u016fru nohama, p\u0159ipom\u00ednaj\u00edc\u00ed snad trochu poloskute\u010dnou j\u00edzdu Ivana a jeho kamar\u00e1dky z Tarkovsk\u00e9ho Ivanova d\u011btstv\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Filmov\u00fd nad\u0161enec by v Nabarven\u00e9m pt\u00e1\u010deti z\u0159ejm\u011b dok\u00e1zal vystopovat v\u00edce obrazov\u00fdch odkaz\u016f: chrast\u00edc\u00ed dekorovan\u00fd strom nebo mladou \u017eenu zvolna pozvedaj\u00edc\u00ed o\u010di zpod rozcuchan\u00fdch vlas\u016f jako v Mark\u00e9t\u011b Lazarov\u00e9, chlapce trm\u00e1cej\u00edc\u00edho se bl\u00e1tiv\u00fdm svahem skrz \u0159\u00eddk\u00e9 sn\u011bhov\u00e9 vlo\u010dky jako v Pramenu panny, slepce s \u010dern\u00fdmi kr\u00e1tery po vydlouban\u00fdch o\u010d\u00edch, od\u011bn\u00e9ho do sv\u011btl\u00e9 ln\u011bn\u00e9 haleny jako v Andreji Rublevovi. T\u011b\u017eko soudit, nakolik se jedn\u00e1 o v\u011bdom\u00e9 nebo odtu\u0161en\u00e9 parafr\u00e1ze. David Jenkins na webu Little White Lies uv\u00e1d\u00ed Nabarven\u00e9 pt\u00e1\u010de do souvislosti s Ivanov\u00fdm d\u011btstv\u00edm, rovn\u011b\u017e V\u00e1clav Marhoul se hl\u00e1s\u00ed k Tarkovsk\u00e9ho odkazu. Jenom\u017ee oproti rusk\u00e9mu p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhu z r. 1962 postr\u00e1d\u00e1 sou\u010dasn\u00e1 \u010desk\u00e1 verze portr\u00e9tu v\u00e1lkou traumatizovan\u00e9ho d\u00edt\u011bte podmanivost prol\u00ednaj\u00edc\u00edch se realit, obsesivn\u00edch vzpom\u00ednek, p\u0159edstav, a p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm citlivost v\u016f\u010di nejednozna\u010dn\u00e9 psychologii chlapce p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 p\u0159ed\u010dasn\u011b a hrub\u011b p\u0159inucen\u00e9ho dosp\u011bt. Trag\u00e9die Ivanova d\u011btstv\u00ed toti\u017e daleko v\u00edc ne\u017e ve fyzick\u00e9 brutalit\u011b, kterou protagonista musel podstoupit nebo se j\u00ed stal sv\u011bdkem, spo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 v nehmotn\u00e9m, o to v\u0161ak trvalej\u0161\u00edm zran\u011bn\u00ed jeho du\u0161e. Nam\u00edsto explicitn\u00edch z\u00e1b\u011br\u016f tak kameraman Vadim Jusov vypr\u00e1v\u00ed skrze st\u00ednohru Ivanov\u00fdch vzpom\u00ednek zinscenovan\u00fdch do podivn\u011b ned\u011btsk\u00e9 hry, pouze jednou, pod vlivem nedosp\u011bl\u00e9 vzpory, Ivan vyk\u0159ikne \u201cCopak vy jste byl n\u011bkdy v transportu?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Surovost je esenc\u00ed v\u00e1lky &#8211; nebo ne?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Otupen\u00ed Josky, protagonisty Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete, v\u016f\u010di n\u00e1sil\u00ed bohu\u017eel prob\u00edh\u00e1 p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 o\u010dek\u00e1vateln\u011b: po stra\u0161n\u00fdch z\u00e1\u017eitc\u00edch \u010dasem za\u00fato\u010d\u00ed na poutn\u00edka v lese, sv\u00e9ho tr\u00fdznitele shod\u00ed do bunkru pln\u00e9ho krys, z ban\u00e1ln\u00ed pomsty zast\u0159el\u00ed \u010dlov\u011bka. Nadto m\u00edra n\u00e1sil\u00ed, kter\u00e9 nicm\u00e9n\u011b p\u0159estupuje hranici vn\u00edmatelnosti u\u017e v kni\u017en\u00ed p\u0159edloze, postupem \u010dasu za\u010d\u00edn\u00e1 necht\u011bn\u011b tupit i emaptii publika v\u016f\u010di filmu jako takov\u00e9mu. Okam\u017eik, kdy spolu s chlapcem u\u017e nec\u00edt\u00edme nic, tedy nelze pova\u017eovat za k\u00fd\u017een\u00e9 napln\u011bn\u00ed re\u017eijn\u00edho z\u00e1m\u011bru. Jakkoli bl\u00edzko Joskovi, st\u00e1v\u00e1me se z\u00e1rove\u0148 imunn\u00ed v\u016f\u010di filmu v na\u0161\u00ed vlastn\u00ed skute\u010dnosti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kameraman Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete Vladim\u00edr Smutn\u00fd disponuje zku\u0161enost\u00ed pades\u00e1tilet\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed tvorby, p\u0159esto se v\u0161ak jeho klidn\u00fdm, pe\u010dliv\u011b komponovan\u00fdm z\u00e1b\u011br\u016fm nedost\u00e1v\u00e1 dostate\u010dn\u00e9 d\u016fv\u011bry. Z v\u016fle re\u017eis\u00e9ra, st\u0159iha\u010de, dramaturga \u010di samotn\u00e9ho autora obvykle pominou d\u0159\u00edv, ne\u017e by zam\u00fd\u0161len\u00e1 estetick\u00e1 s\u00edla dostala mo\u017enost se rozezn\u00edt. Nedlouh\u00e9 sekvence jemn\u011bj\u0161\u00edho vypr\u00e1v\u011bn\u00ed &#8211; nap\u0159. setk\u00e1n\u00ed Lecha s Ludmilou &#8211; velmi brzy znova p\u0159eb\u00edj\u00ed nep\u0159edlo\u017een\u00e1 surovost, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e snaha o jej\u00ed zp\u0159\u00edstupn\u011bn\u00ed skrze estetizovan\u00fd obraz uvrh\u00e1 film do nebezpe\u010d\u00ed obhajoby n\u00e1sil\u00ed skrze vizu\u00e1ln\u011b p\u016fsobiv\u00e9 ztv\u00e1rn\u011bn\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kam se pod\u011bl hlas obraz\u016f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ned\u016fv\u011bru v autonomii obrazov\u00e9ho sd\u011blen\u00ed lze vysledovat nap\u0159\u00edklad p\u0159i srovn\u00e1n\u00ed pr\u00e1ce s motivem dekorovan\u00e9ho stromu v Nabarven\u00e9m pt\u00e1\u010deti a Mark\u00e9t\u011b Lazarov\u00e9: siln\u011b v\u00fdtvarn\u00fd prvek, jak\u00fdm je strom ov\u011b\u0161en\u00fd ritu\u00e1ln\u00edmi p\u0159edm\u011bty (t\u0159eba\u017ee u Marhoula sp\u00ed\u0161e jen opentlen\u00fd) symbolizuje v obou p\u0159\u00edpadech nev\u011bdomou, anim\u00e1ln\u00ed rovinu lidsk\u00e9 mysli. Av\u0161ak zat\u00edmco Franti\u0161ek Vl\u00e1\u010dil dubu \u00famluvy v\u011bnuje dlouhou sekvenci Alexand\u0159ina ritu\u00e1lu (s v\u011bdom\u00edm v\u00fdznamu postavy Alexandry pro p\u0159\u00edb\u011bh), doprov\u00e1zenou nadto zvl\u00e1\u0161tn\u00ed rajskou son\u00e1tou Zde\u0148ka Li\u0161ky, Vladim\u00edr Smutn\u00fd uk\u00e1\u017ee pod veden\u00edm V\u00e1clava Marhoula ov\u011b\u0161en\u00fd strom sotva na minutu, degraduje ho tak na pouhou oku lahod\u00edc\u00ed dekoraci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obraz Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete dokl\u00e1d\u00e1, \u017ee by bylo hrub\u00fdm omylem pova\u017eovat potla\u010den\u00ed dialogu za d\u016fkaz bohatstv\u00ed filmov\u00e9 \u0159e\u010di. Postavy Kosi\u0144sk\u00e9ho rom\u00e1nu i jeho adaptace sice promlouvaj\u00ed velmi z\u0159\u00eddka, p\u0159esto se v\u00fdpov\u011b\u010f knihy i filmu v\u011bt\u0161inu \u010dasu dr\u017e\u00ed jedin\u00e9 roviny &#8211; d\u011bjov\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Snad m\u011blo za\u0159azen\u00ed Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete do sout\u011b\u017ee Ben\u00e1tsk\u00e9ho bien\u00e1le symbolizovat tak\u00e9 nov\u00fd, resp. nezmizel\u00fd z\u00e1jem o slovansk\u00e9 prost\u0159ed\u00ed, jeho specifickou historii a estetiku. Opravdu porot\u011b ale sta\u010d\u00ed postavy redukovan\u00e9 psychologie, promlouvaj\u00edc\u00ed jazykem v ofici\u00e1ln\u00ed anotaci nazvan\u00fdm slovansk\u00e9 esperanto?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je pochopiteln\u00e9, \u017ee se V\u00e1clav Marhoul vyu\u017eit\u00edm t\u00e9to um\u011bl\u00e9 \u0159e\u010di sna\u017eil postihnout geografickou neur\u010denost p\u016fvodn\u011b liter\u00e1rn\u00edho prost\u0159ed\u00ed. Odm\u00edtnut\u00edm re\u00e1ln\u00e9ho jazyka coby z\u00e1sadn\u00ed sou\u010d\u00e1sti kulturn\u00edho d\u011bdictv\u00ed ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 up\u00edr\u00e1 postav\u00e1m i n\u00e1rok na osobn\u00ed mytologii, tolik pot\u0159ebnou pro charaktery zalo\u017een\u00e9 na nerozumov\u00e9m vn\u00edm\u00e1n\u00ed. Bez bli\u017e\u0161\u00edho vhledu do on\u00e9 pov\u011bstn\u00e9 pov\u011br\u010div\u00e9 mysli vesni\u010dana z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 postav\u00e1m jen to nejni\u017e\u0161\u00ed: chtivost, tup\u00e1 sexu\u00e1ln\u00ed touha a zlost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jedn\u00e1 se o monument\u00e1ln\u00ed d\u00edlo &#8211; jen douf\u00e1m, \u017ee u\u017e se s t\u00edmto filmem nikdy nesetk\u00e1m<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMohu bez v\u00e1h\u00e1n\u00ed konstatovat, \u017ee se jedn\u00e1 o monument\u00e1ln\u00ed d\u00edlo a jsem velmi r\u00e1d, \u017ee jsem ho vid\u011bl,\u201d shrnuje filmov\u00fd kritik Xan Brooks sv\u00e9 dojmy z Nabarven\u00e9ho pt\u00e1\u010dete pro den\u00edk The Guardian. \u201cNicm\u00e9n\u011b, mus\u00edm tak\u00e9 \u0159\u00edci, \u017ee douf\u00e1m, \u017ee u\u017e se s t\u00edmto filmem nikdy nesetk\u00e1m.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mysl\u00edm, \u017ee Brooks\u016fv rozporupln\u00fd post\u0159eh se dot\u00fdk\u00e1 d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9 ot\u00e1zky spojen\u00e9 s Nabarven\u00fdm pt\u00e1\u010detem: Jak by vlastn\u011b filmov\u00e9 d\u00edlo m\u011blo p\u016fsobit na publikum?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">V\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9 drama div\u00e1k jist\u011b opust\u00ed v jin\u00e9m rozpolo\u017een\u00ed ne\u017e poetick\u00e9 vypr\u00e1v\u011bn\u00ed o l\u00e1sce,&nbsp; nehled\u011b na t\u00e9ma ov\u0161em nad\u010dasov\u00e9 filmy musej\u00ed obsahovat n\u011bco, \u010d\u00edm sv\u00e9 obecenstvo v\u00e1b\u00ed zp\u00e1tky. Kuriozity a nehor\u00e1znosti s prom\u011bnou dobov\u00e9ho kontextu sl\u00e1bnou, zd\u011b\u0161en\u00ed n\u00e1s sice uvnit\u0159 rozechv\u00edv\u00e1, av\u0161ak sv\u00edrav\u011b, bez kr\u00e1sy a katarze, na m\u00edsto zbaven\u00ed t\u00edhy vzbuzuje sp\u00ed\u0161 pocit strnut\u00ed. Vyt\u0159\u00edbenost um\u011bleck\u00e9ho projevu nelze naaran\u017eovat.
