Since 1976, he has been producing and engineering documentaries, reportage, drama, sound art and culture news programs, along with his work as an international media advisor for UN and various NGOs, in Africa, Asia and the Arab world. Presently, since 2014, he is the editor in-chief on the bi-weekly \u201cRadio Tales\u201d (Radiofort\u00e6llinger) on DR-Danish Broadcasting Corporation\u2019s P1-talk channel.\u00a0He belongs to the \u201cGolden age of the Danish radio documentary generation\u201d, who won loads of awards, such as Prix Italia and Prix Europe, in the 80th\u00a0and 90th.<br>In the same period he and his soulmate and teacher, Stephen Schwartz, worked closely together on studies, teaching and practicing the visual aspects of radio-story-telling and an interviewing style they named \u2018The Moment Interview\u2019. Torben Brandt has refined the method since Stephen Schwartz death in 2013.
